Irene Fernández Arcas, Embodying blueness, 2021. Drawing on ceramic, 30 cm

This is a very special ceramic that was created for Altar a la Risa in 2021. It has paintings and drawings in both sides and it is one of the most important works of the artist.

The ceramic work is created to be understood as an altar, and proposes a reflection on celebrations, and an invitation to look at our daily rituals with other perspectives. It is a tribute to roots, and Granada; at the same time it is an offering to the health of the body and soul, and an exchange of joy as a resource for resilience. It also invites us to celebrate each small daily gesture with awareness, to focus on the beauty of the movements of our routine and daily rituals to enjoy our processes with love. It is recommended to hang it with a metal or plastic ceramic holder on the wall or place it on a shelf or display cabinet.

It is possible to make personalized unique ceramics with own text and name.
